Donate Books to Good Neighbors
Good Neighbors gives books to the children in their program every week during the summer program. New and gently pre-read books for 1st – 8th graders are welcome. Please bring your favorites (no limit) to the General Membership meeting or drop them off at the office beforehand.

- County School Board Meetings
Bedford County: Thursday, June 9, at 5 pm. The location of the Bedford County School Board Meetings varies from month to month. June’s meeting will be held at LHS Auditorium, 100 Minuteman Drive in Bedford.
Franklin County: Monday, June 13, at 7 pm, 25 Bernard Road, Rocky Mount

• DNC T3 Program – DNC Best Practices Institute is offering Train the Trainer (T3) Program, a free, six-week, 12-part course that covers grassroots campaigning. T3 trainings are targeted towards volunteers and activists, and will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00-8:00 p.m. ET, beginning on May 24 and concluding on June 30. Participants must register by Sunday, May 22.
